Chuck Norris CAN believe it’s not butter 0

I could quite simply not resist. I love Chuck Norris.

So it was like all my Christmases had come at once when I checked Google Trends and saw number 8 was: where is Chuck Norris?

I have noooo idea why people are Googling Chuck Norris.

Yes the man is a legend. Maybe less because he was Walker Texas Ranger and more because he is the inspiration for a million of hilarious Chuck Norris fact… i.e:

- Chuck Norris doesn’t wear a watch. HE decides the time.

- Chuck Norris did in fact build Rome in a day.

- It takes Chuck Norris 20 minutes to watch 60 minutes… (I could go on all day)

But he hasn’t done anything recently that I know of to warrant such a massive amount of Googling. That was until I Googled what everyone else was Googling, ‘where is Chuck Norris?’

This is what I found and I was on the floor laughing. Someone at Google (God bless them, I told you they were geniuses) wrote this as the response to a ‘where is Chuck Norris?’ search:

Now in my twisted head I’d like to think that people are Googling Chuck Norris over and over again just to read this hilariously clever message.

However, as usual I was wrong. I did a bit more snooping and I think I found the real reason why Chuck Norris has re-entered our psyche… technically he should never have left because he is such a legend… but I digress.

All this Chuck Norris mania is thanks to one 15-year-old singer, songwriter and musician called Justin Bieber. Justin has hopped on the quite heavy if not overloaded Chuck Norris bandwagon to promote his new single “Baby”.

He then tweeted some Chuck Norris and Baby one liners like “Chuck Norris bought ‘Baby’ on iTunes infinity times … twice” , which in my opinion wasn’t exactly revolutionary… there are so many brillant Norris jokes and that was the best you can could come up with?

But then Justin took it one step forward. He posted a photoshopped snap on him, he looks like he’s 5, and Norris together, see right-

Again the joke kinda sucked but that’s not really the point. The point is, and yes there is one, that Chuck Norris should immortalised forever as a cultural icon.

A lot of people who remember Walker Texas Ranger see Norris as a second rate kung-fu sellout who had no talent and made a dodgy TV show.

But how many people do you know who have managed to cross the generation lines like Chuck?

I wasn’t even alive to watch Chuck Norris. I’m sure Justin over here wasn’t either and yet we don’t just know who he is but we love him enough to blog about him.

It’s brilliant. I just wish people would Google him more often and then I would be able to crack Norris jokes all day.

Seriously I had have been hearing these jokes for over 10 years and I never get sick of them…. who else has the staying power to do that? certainly not Butch and the Sundance Kids or Renegade… not even Mr T has what Chuck has!!!
