my mum keeps trying to persuade the whole family to move to canada (my sister's already living in toronto). from my visit last year, i loved the place... but then, it was summertime.

and, i've seen an awful lot of fantastic design coming from that neck of the woods recently, and can't figure out why.

Canada is great in the summer, no doubt about it. But if you don't like winter (and I sure don't) then yeah, it can be a cold pain in the ass from November to about April.

As far as design goes, that isn't really my field of expertise. I know that when we put our mind to it we can put together some decent television. Our laughable film industry is another matter.

And we have plenty of chunkaroos up here, including myself. Though I am trying to negate that situation. :)
